This bush grows across Europe and can reach 1-4 meters in height. In countries where the plant originated, across tropical Africa, it can reach heights of 12-13 meters! The use of Castor Bean can be traced to 4000 B.C. where it was known in Egypt as a seed oil. Castor seeds have been found in ancient tombs. In ancient Egypt, Castor Bean was a choice ingredient for hair care, lashes and nails.
