Since our beginnings, Clarins has been on a journey to passing on a more beautiful planet by working on respecting nature and biodiversity.

Through less packaging, refillable product, and favouring more sustainable materials, we’re steadily progressing towards our goals.

Reduce

We're constantly looking for ways to reduce the weight and volume of our packaging to help preserve nature's precious resources.

Focus on samples sizes to try before buying

Our glass jars contain at least 40% recycled glass while their lids are made from recycled plastic.

Reuse

Since 2018, we have introduced refillable solutions across multiple product lines. We're aiming for 25% of our turnover to come from refillable products by 2030.

Extra-Firming. Extra-Refillable.

Next up is moisturisers! Refilling an Extra-Firming cream - our first refillable moisturiser - reduces its environmental footprint by 84%^* compared to using 3 non-refillable jars. And we're just getting started - there's more to come!

Refillable Fragrances

We started with Treatment Fragrances featuring unscrewable caps for easy refilling. Since 2020, we have introduced the Clarins Eco-Bar in our Marais boutique in Paris, allowing customers to refill their Eau Dynamisante and Eau Extraordinaire.

Refillable Joli Rouge Lipsticks with an easy-to-replace bullet

A Lipstick for Life

For lipsticks with a longer lifespan, we designed the refillable Joli Rouge Lipsticks, delivering the same iconic shades with an easy-to-replace bullet.

One bottle, endless refills

Buy, refill, rejoice! Available in new refillable eco-packs, our iconic Gentle Foaming Cleansers, Toning Lotions, Cleansing Milk and Tonic Bath & Shower Concentrate contain at least 49% recycled materials.

We are saving resources by using:
